Parental consultations typically refer to meetings or discussions between parents and professionals, such as teachers, school counselors, or healthcare providers, to address and discuss matters related to a child's development, education, behavior, or well-being. These consultations aim to foster effective communication between parents and professionals, enabling them to work together to support the child's overall growth and success.
If a child has special education needs or exhibits problems at school, parental consultations may involve discussions with our clinicians, special education teachers, and other specialists to create and review individualized education plans (IEPs) for the child or create a supportive plan in the academic setting.
The clinicians at Unfiltered Therapy may conduct parental consultations to discuss behavioral or emotional issues a child may be experiencing and collaborate on strategies for support.
