Meet Morgan Pinedo, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #10152) with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential who specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families. She practices from a humanistic, client-centered approach and is committed to understanding each child as a whole person—emotionally, developmentally, and relationally—while creating individualized paths toward growth and healing. Morgan is intentional about fostering a warm, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to engage in lasting personal growth and change.
Morgan earned her Master’s degree in Counseling from Chapman University and has been practicing since 2021 in community mental health settings, private practice, and school districts throughout South Orange County. While her practice extends across the lifespan, she has a particular strength and joy in working with children and adolescents. Morgan utilizes evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the child and family. When appropriate she will also integrate child-centered, non-directive play therapy, allowing children to express thoughts and feelings naturally through play in a safe and supportive environment. Her experience includes treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, difficulties with motivation, and life transitions, and she is well-versed in supporting students with 504 plans and IEPs. She values collaboration with parents and caregivers and provides ongoing psychoeducation and practical resources so families feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the therapeutic process.
what would that look like for you?
